It's good to have friends, but its better if you have great friends who appreciate what you do. I am blessed to have some rare jewels I intend to keep for life. Annieloves (my term of endearment for her) is one of them. She supports me and my blog and I'm super thankful for that!
Okay, sorry for the mush mush! Moving on...
Anne went on a US trip and asked me if I wanted something from the cosmetic mecca Sephora, silly question right? :P long story short, I asked her to get me my long coveted Dior Lip Glow and bareMinerals foundation in medium beige; told her I would pay her when she comes back, but she insisted on giving them to me as gifts. ♥ her! :)
here they are:
my very first bareMinerals foundation in medium beige:
it has SPF15 which is a great add on. I read online that medium beige's MAC counterpart shade is NC30 which is my MAC shade. Wow, I must be developing some good foundation matching skills (considering that I only looked at online swatches), that felt good!
I tried it once (before my MAKEUP FREE phase, Lurvey might be reading. ^_~) to test if the shade matches (it does!) and if it will make my face itchy (it did not!). I will make a separate review post on this, please be patient as I am always overwhelmed with product reviews. XD
Dior Addict Lip Glow, thoughts...
I don't think it would be necessary to make a swatch of it, because it turns to different shades for different people. In my case, it makes my lip color vibrantly reddish like I just ate cherries and stained my lips, not glossy but it gives my lips a subtle sheen which looks very natural. I like how it has SPF 10, super moisturizing and long wearing for me too.
I get a lot of compliments when I take it out of my purse, aside from the appealing pink balm which protrudes from the tube, the packaging is the most beautiful one out there when it comes to lip balms in my opinion. I am so glad I got this a gift, that way I won't complain about how pricey it is for a lip balm! ;)
Thank you Anne!
