I know I'm so behind on this, but I still can't believe I got a hold of these three babies! So I thought, this deserves a proper post. XD
When I was told by my CHANEL angel (= Sales Assistant) that the Les Khakis collection won't be making it to our shores, I just accepted it... I had to let go of the lemming. BUT days after that sad Sunday, my "bad fairy" Sol of Digital Traincase came to the rescue, she sent me a message (out of the blue) and asked if I wanted the whole set because she had a friend who was accepting custom purchases. At first I hesitated to get all three, as I was only interested in Khaki Vert. So I asked Sol if she thought all three shades would suit my complexion. Sol is my biggest nail polish enabler, so you know what happened next. ;)
So say hello to my little friends: the CHANEL LE VERNIS Nail Colours, Les Khakis Collection!
Khaki Vert, Khaki Rose, Khaki Brun
I'm glad I got all three shades because Khaki Rose turned out to be my favorite, its the prettiest brown I have ever seen! (sorry, I dont have swatches for you right now, but they all apply true to the color from the bottle) All three shades are safe for the office ladies, but I'm planning to wear all of them at the same time by using them for a camouflage nail art. I can't wait to go and have my nails done this weekend! (of course I will show you) Kudos to CHANEL for another chic collection! My collection is growing rapidly!
Which makes me curious, what's your unforgettable/favorite CHANEL nail polish shade? Do share!
With all the focus being on dark and vampy colors during fall and winter season, leave it to Steph of DSK jewelry to make you feel all warm and fuzzy anytime of the year with springtime colors to complement your outfit! Don't get me wrong, I luuurve fall/autumn season, but there's something about vibrant colors that make me yearn for springtime colors all year round. It just looks so fresh, don't you think?
Honestly, I had a hard time choosing between the "Flowa Powa" and "Autumn Story" necklaces because they are both very pretty and the color combinations are both very appealing to me. But when I saw the limited edition "Cherry Blossoms in Bloom" bracelet, I just knew which one to get. ;)
I ordered September 7 (-> backlogged! :P) and got my parcel on the 27th, not bad at all! Steph also added some sweet extras. Thank you babe! :)
Hello lovelies! I can't believe its Thursday already. Sorry for the lack of posts recently, I got addicted to Plants VS Zombies that's why my blogging time has been diverted into playtime. XD I already defeated Dr. Zomboss, but I'm still unlocking some mini games so i'm not done playing just yet. muahahaha >:)
You know how I'm backlogged with posts (hauls, reviews, events, etc.) so I decided I'm going to be productive as a blogger today. :P
Last September (->you see how backlogged I am?!), I received a surprise package from the mail, it was from my cousin, Ate (means a senior female in Filipino/Tagalog) Chie, as you can see, she has talent for making presents look like ART. Awesome gift wrapping skills don't you think? I couldn't touch it for a while as I didn't want to ruin the pretty present!
Hi guys! Just a quick post today before I go and prepare a Shabu Shabu dinner for Lurvey and me! :)
Shu Uemura's Flagship store in Powerplant, Rockwell is celebrating its 2nd year anniversary by hosting a series of events this coming week. Please refer to the photo below for activities and their schedules.
Plus they're having a one day SALE on ALL ITEMS on October 20, 2010 (Wednesday). Just look for Cindy if you need assistance, she's nice and very helpful. Who's going? ^_^
The Utilitarian/Military trend is one of my favorites... Its because I'm a military brat and I grew up in a camp, seeing soldiers in their camouflage uniforms and having the best posture EVERYDAY. I have always been fascinated by their discipline and their ability to make their spine stay straight. (I wonder why it didn't rub off on me?!) :P Ok I'm rambling again, sorries! Sooo, today I would like to share with you the PERFECT nail polish for the said trend, Rescue Beauty Lounge's "No More War".
I feel like a kid with that title. Haha. But yes, as much as I love shopping at SASA, I have been resisting ordering from their online store for a long while up until I just couldn't anymore, I really wanted to try the FaceQ masks Blair and Eki reviewed and raved about on their respective blogs. I still have some Silk Whitia masks from my Singapore trip, they're great and all, but lately I've been miss lazypants... I need want some masks I won't have to rinse off afterwards. XD
