DSK Goodies!

With all the focus being on dark and vampy colors during fall and winter season, leave it to Steph of DSK jewelry to make you feel all warm and fuzzy anytime of the year with springtime colors to complement your outfit! Don't get me wrong, I luuurve fall/autumn season, but there's something about vibrant colors that make me yearn for springtime colors all year round. It just looks so fresh, don't you think?

Honestly, I had a hard time choosing between the "Flowa Powa" and "Autumn Story" necklaces because they are both very pretty and the color combinations are both very appealing to me. But when I saw the limited edition "Cherry Blossoms in Bloom"  bracelet, I just knew which one to get. ;)

I ordered September 7 (-> backlogged! :P) and got my parcel on the 27th, not bad at all! Steph also added some sweet extras. Thank you babe! :)

Guerlain Cherry Blossom for Spring 2010

One word: GORGEOUS. I wasn't really planning on hauling that fun friday night, but when I passed by the Guerlain counter at Rustan's, I was greeted by a selling event featuring the Cherry Blossom collection which I have been lemming for since November 2009. Well, I am happy to report that the wait has been worth it! :)

I love how elegant the case looks. The simplicity of the delicate black creates a beautiful contrast with the colorful eyeshadows/blush when you open the case.

The blush, when applied, creates a light, pretty pastel pink flush.

MA did a good job on giving me tips and a mini tutorial on how to blend the colors in the palette.

Eyeshadow palette 408 Jeu d'Ombrelles swatches:

I like the combination of the upper left and lower right shade, perfect for a sweet daytime look! Just blend in the darker colors for a soft smoky eye look.

I am officially declaring that I am a giddy Guerlain fan. I really love the texture of their eyeshadows. MA also tried the Ombre Eclat Eyeshadow Primer on me, which I loved, and now lemming for. Oh dear. Good thing it was OOS. hahaha! I should just remind myself that gorgeous things really come to those who wait. ^_~

Bath & Body Works Goodies

Pasalubong is a tagalog term for a present given by someone (friend or relative) returning from an out of town/country trip. The wonderful couple, Mike & Kat from Urbanity.ph surprised me with a bag of pasalubong with Bath and Body Works goodies during our weekend meet-up.

I am familiar with the Japanese Cherry Blossom scent from B&BW, I've purchased body lotions and shower gels in this range, needless to say, I love everything cherry blossom and I'm really excited to try the hand cream. I'm going to share this with my Mom 'cause she likes this scent too! :)

The Sea Island Cotton smells wonderful! I can't stop sniffing the smell from the bottle. haha :)
