BREAKing News

I accidentally dropped and broke my current favorite blush, CHANEL Tweed Fuschia. T.T *heavy heart, deep breaths* Such a shame because I really love this blush! *tears*

on a lighter note, at least now I know how it looks like underneath the tweed overlay. Lesson learned, always put things back into the drawer after use. Better safe than sorry!

question is, should i get another one? It's LE!!!!! really need your thoughts on this lovelies!

Thanks in advance!

Autumn in HK Part 2: Lanvin x H&M Haul + OOTD

Day 2 of our Hong Kong trip was dedicated to the launch of H&M's latest designer collaboration, Lanvin ♥ H&M! This is the first time I experienced queuing at 7 in the morning just to shop for clothes... talk about dedication and materialism. :P

They gave away color-coded wrist bands/tags with corresponding shop times, earliest was 8:05am and the last batch was 11:50am-12:00 noon, the Lanvin collection was opened for public shopping at 12 noon, where the only things left were the poofy grey tulle dresses, fur jackets and coats which also sold out in no time FYI. Lots of crazy people in HKG! hahaha!

A quick look inside the store at Silvercord, TST:
calm before the storm...of fashionistas! XD

Seeing the clothes in person made our hearts flutter in delight! Thank you K, for the photos :)

Happy G @ Canton Road :)

HAUL!
UNICEF All for Children tote, lipstick, 2 shirts and a shoe bag-from K as I did not get shoes. I managed to grab some shoes at size 39 during the 10 minute shop time, but they were too big, they already ran out of 38's when I came back to have them changed. Oh I also managed to get a dress as CP for miss Stellarvixen! Yay! :)

I really wanted to get all 3 shirts but when it was my turn to shop, only 2 of the designs were available in medium and large sizes. This design is the blingy version of the UNICEF tote, very cute! totally wearable!

the shirts come with extra appliques, just in case ;)

Sunday's OOTD featuring my other Lanvin ♥ H&M shirt paired with black H&M zipper skirt, army green F21 studded flats and my current favorite, Marc by Marc Jacobs Natasha Rosie sling bag.
ni-hao!!! that's my adorable god-daughter achi Janelle and shoti Nate, Lurvey's niece and nephew :)

next up... Day 3: Blogger meet-up with sweet Jennifer + my HK cosme haul! ^_^

Thank you for reading!

Autumn in HK Part 1: Hello Kitty Madness!

Heya lovelies! I'm back on bloggersville!!! Sorry it took me a while, I really needed a lot of time to re-energize and catch up on sleep! =.=

I traveled to Hong Kong with K of Urbanity.ph, and it was awesome! We had lots of fun adventures and misadventures as well. On our first day, we roamed around Mongkok and went to Langham Place, there's a Hello Kitty Spectacle going on, so K and I grabbed our chance of being photographed with the cutest kitty in the world! I have a lot of fun photos to share with you, it was Hello Kitty paradise, London style. ^_~

there was a Hello Kitty version of the Big Ben and London Eye...

MAC LE Lipglass in Cyndi Lauper and Lady Gaga + Mean and Green NOTD

I am well aware that there are LOADS of posts about these MAC LE lipglasses featuring Cyndi Lauper and Lady Gaga, its my fault I'm so late, because I actually forgot I had them! ~ACK!
anyway...

If anyone is still looking for info and swatches here's my take on the glosses:

Cyndi is a cute, reddish coral, very wearable... Remember, BLOTTING is key to keep ourselves from looking overdone and gross. *just a friendly reminder*

Lady Gaga is a pretty, pale blue - pink shade which makes my pigmented lips look full and milky.
I like these two very much, they can be applied alone (as they are pigmented, especially Cyndi) or layered on top of complementing lipsticks. I was told by a MUA that the Lady Gaga lipglass looks awesome on top of MAC's infamous pink lipstick, Pink Nouveau. I've tried the combo as I have Pink Nouveau as well, and I have to agree.

Consistency is bearably sticky, not like the old MAC lipglass formula I've tried which was tormentingly sticky. Ugh! If you're a fan of both Cyndi Lauper and Lady Gaga which most probably you are, maybe you can still find these in your local stores, that is if they aren't sold out yet. It will help a lot of people infected with the HIV virus. Charity is always great!

to cap off the MAC post, I leave you with my NOTD using Mean & Green from the Venomous Villains collection. *so late!* But better than never! ;)
Stunning duo chrome finish IMO, its purple, its green, its shiny! I can't help but look at my nails every time I read a book or a magazine, it's so cool it's distracting! Tip wear is great too (with OPI top coat), I don't have access to its known dupe: Orly's Space Cadet so I'm very happy I got to snag a bottle of Mean & Green. Yay! I only like LE's when I can access them. LOL!

That's it for now, life's a bit hectic nowadays, I'll be MIA from tomorrow until next week, don't miss me too much, I'll be back with wonderful news and posts before you know it! DON'T BLINK!

just kidding! ^_~

CHANEL Pulsion

It's been a while since I posted a NOTD entry eh? Well, I'll make it up to you right now. If you're on the hunt for the perfect BARBIE pink, I think this is it!

I got this nail lacquer along with my CHANEL Tweed Fuschia, both part of the 2010 Holiday collection. I know there may be dupes for this out there *some say NARS Schiap, some say OPI Pink Flamenco* since its not really the most unique color from CHANEL (just like tweed fuschia), but I can't compare since I don't own any of Pulsion's potential dupes. Plus the color just screamed at me to take it home and wear it. Nail ladies, I know you feel me!
HOT HOT CREAMY PINK! :P

G is for Gorgeous

Oh dear. I know I just did a post on a blusher, but I think I'm in love with another blusher AGAIN. Just look at those blusher shades, oh and that big G embossed in the palette! I die!!! x_x
Guerlain Blush G Serie Noire: Limited edition, four-tone gradational blush inspired by the Rouge G. (8085yen) Why, oh why does it have to be that expensive Guerlain?! *sigh*  The ad photo is so washed out, the ->blusher has shades of orangey peach, fuschia, bronze and rose pink based from my impression. For more photos of Guerlain's full Spring 2011 collection, head on to Rouge Deluxe!

Crap. I think I know what my first purchase for 2011 as the Spring collection is set to be released in January. Any benefactors out there? Ahh... I hope I get money-filled ang baos this holiday season just so I can get this blush without full-on guilt! *fingers crossed*

Fancy Scrunchie From Evita Peroni

I just dropped Php990 (approx. USD22) on a scrunchie and I'm happy as a clam. OK before you judge me, you should know that its a very versatile piece as it can be used a a bracelet, headband and as a necklace -if you like chokers. ^_~

The quality is superb and it comes with a luxe storage pouch as seen in the photo.

My MUJI Fix

Manila's shopping scene is getting better and better every time big companies bring in the stores Filipinos like to visit when traveling abroad. Latest import is MUJI, a Japanese retail company which sells a wide variety of household and consumer goods including food, clothes and cosmetics.

The first time I went there, the queue was unbelievably long! So I emptied my half-filled basket and left. It was only their second day of opening so its understandable. I let a week pass before going back, fortunately (or unfortunately, however you want to see it) I did not leave empty handed the second time. Although there were products I wanted which sold out. Bummer.

Fall 2010: NARS Beautiful Life Palette

I'm officially aboard the NARS train to pigmentation! Lovelies, presenting you... my very first NARS product, the Beautiful Life palette. I got this because I thought it has good value for money, and I really wanted to try the super popular Orgasm blusher.:)
