The Junkisei Prime Mask + Thank you's

Holy Moly! I've reached 100+ readers/followers this month! Thank you everyone for making my Blogger life so fun and worthwhile! I appreciate all the lovely people who take time to read my silly posts, random thoughts and letting me know what they think by commenting. Seriously, you all make me so happy. You guys are precious! :)

Moving on to the product review, I'm going to share some thoughts on the Kose Junkisei Prime Mask which I bought weeks ago as a part of a haul. A box contains 4 pieces of individually packed masks. It cost Php950 (approx. USD20) if I remember correctly, quite expensive for sheet masks in my opinion.

here's the box:
isn't it pretty? i love the color, i must admit that it was the packaging which lured me into buying this. I've never tried Kose skin care before trying this mask and I had NO IDEA what it does for the face. Yes, I'm THAT kind of packaging junkie. hahaha!

here's the individually packed mask:
this is the last piece, I used up the other ones already. Forgot to take a group pic. (bad blogger!) heehee.

here's what you get inside:
the consistency of the product is serum like, the smell is very light, which is pleasant for me.

are you ready for some scary photos?
don't tell me I didn't warn you! ;)

here I am with the Junkisei Prime Mask on:
Believe me, I have a purpose for posting my horrifying face here.

and here it is! It's my first time encountering a sheet mask which has flaps for the eyes should you choose to relax and close your eyes for some beauty rest. Clever right? I think the eyelids need intensive hydration too! :)
I left it on for 15 minutes. It gave me moderate hydration, soft and supple skin. It didn't break me out either so that's a plus. But overall, the Junkisei Prime Mask is just OK for me. I find The Face Shop's and Etude House's Moistfull sheet masks better than this.

I give it 3 stars= 3 for the moisturizing properties, PLUS 1 for the clever eye flaps, MINUS 1 for being expensive. I expected something great but it didn't justify the price for me. I don't think I'll be repurchasing.

*cue psycho music*
I hope I don't give you nightmares! Good night and sweet dreams! muahahaha!

G

  4. Congrats on over 100! I just placed my order with Sasa for My Beauty Diary masks. I looooove masks! Back when I used to be in school, I used to pop one of those bad babies on my face and pull "all-nighters". But somehow my skin would always look refreshed and glowing, hahahaha...my friends always wanted to know what my "secret" was. :P
