Mascaras are not just Minnie Mouse's best friend, they're mine too! Its one of those "can't live without" products in my makeup bag, its my lash curler's best friend, and together, they complete me. *cuddles with 'scara* I have been quite lucky that my mascara picks have been consistently good and now I will share another tube of peeper prettifying wonder, the Giorgio Armani Eyes to Kill Waterproof Mascara [length & volume lash artillery]. I am always drawn to waterproof versions because I am terribly afraid of smudging and raccoon eyes.
It comes in a weighty, hair finish metal tube which undoubtedly makes it a luxurious mascara.
As you can see, the wand looks like a standard mascara comb, full and dense but not to the point of being clumpy. I hope that made sense :P
Here's how it looks on me, no other eye makeup just the ETK mascara:
my bottom lashes are bare so you can see how the mascara thickens each lash.
This one is quite amazing, it does what it says- volume and length are evident, plus its really comfortable to wear! It has a lightweight formula which made my lashes stay curled all day and soft to touch without smudging nor flaking. If you are one to splurge on mascaras (HKD280), I'd TOTALLY recommend this to you. It also comes in a regular (non-waterproof) formula in black, brown and gray shades.
Happy hump day!
♡,
G
It looks great! But the price scares me. Haha!
ReplyDeleteI've been wanting to dip my hands on some Armani cosmetics. This mascara and the eyeshadows are on my "hit" list! Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteThis looks like it works a LOT better than the non-waterproof version! Thanks for the review - will look for it a Duty Free!
ReplyDeleteOh wow that is fantastic, I've been eyeing this mascara but haven't had the chance to try. I go for water proof versions too. Is this hard to remove?
ReplyDeleteWow! Your eyelashes look awesome! I love it! Have to keep myself away from GA counter.

Thank you very much for the review! I have been eying this mascara for quite a while now..you have totally convinced me that it is going to work for me :-) Btw your lashes are amazing!
ReplyDeleteI love the result! Great review!

It really defines your lashes! :D Interesting that it comes in a grey shade!
ReplyDeleteJacqueline (MBH): i dont find it hard to remove at all, if you have tried Kiss Me Heroine Make Mascaras, I can definitely say that they are tougher to remove plus they harden the lashes a bit which causes the lashes to fall off at times. Aside from the price, Armani's ETK WP mascara is perfect. ;)
ReplyDeleteThank you for all your kind comments ladies! <3
I love how it volumizes without making it look clumpy, but the price is quite intimidating!
ReplyDelete♥ Milk
wow, very pretty!!!
ReplyDelete*puts on to-try list* Your lashes look soo fluttery, babe! Loves it! =D
ReplyDeleteI love the first sentence! Minnie Mouse sure loves mascara XD
ReplyDeleteThis mascara really looks amazing on your lashes! It looks so natural yet curls beautifully. But I'm not one to splurge for mascaras, I much prefer drugstore ones since we have to toss it every 3-6months XD.
ryc: Thank you G! I miss you guys too <3.
I didn't, there's no ice cream at that time but I'll try it when I make more in the future!
looks good! but I still can't bring myself to splurge on high end mascaras yet cos I tend to toss mine every few months/
ReplyDeleteYou have such pretty eyes *_*!
ReplyDeleteIt actually looks quite good, I might give it a try soon :)!!
hmm creates quite nice lashes!^^ Wonder if its curl-keeping strength is enough for my stubborn straight lashes too.
ReplyDeleteBut the price...no wonder I stay away from GA counters...Every time I go near it my heart breaks into ziny pieces ;_;
Thanks for the review and pictures. The mascara looks great and I love the name.
ReplyDeleteoh WOW your lashes look A-MAZING!
ReplyDeleteI haven't tried any GA products to date as I find the price tag quite intimidating. Might try their cream shadows though. Thanks for the review!
