As promised, here are the swatches for the Lunasol products I purchased after the makeover event a week ago. (I know... I'm so behind! haha) Ironically, I didn't get any of the new collection stuff they used on me that day, instead, I went for what I would say my perfect "Autumn look" combination. I'm loving these two! :)
friendly warning: enabling may occur. lol >:)
Lunasol's luxe and sleek bronze packaging.
Aurorized Eyes 05 Contrast Variation quint
This palette is gorgeous, the earthy tones have subdued shimmer compared to other super shimmery quads from past collections. Texture is really fine and silky, very good quality eyeshadows no less. What surprised me is the shimmer pan in the middle of the quint (I usually dislike the useless white shimmer pan which is always present in Lunasol quads, but I really like the one in Aurorized Eyes Contrast Variation) it has a hint of pink to it, very very nice. It highlights the eye beautifully.
FYI: if you cut open the eyeshadow palette's box, you will see instructions on how to apply the eyeshadows:
applicators included are soft and work well in blending the pigments on your lids. That's japanese packaging for you. :)
*magic!*
and for the perfect look, I use the Full Glamour Lips S 49 Deep Rose Red
description from Lunasol: New colors from the Purifying Lipstick line that creates attractive, plump lips with an aurora-like shimmering luster. Beautiful coloration and enhanced radiance. Contains beauty essence ingredients.
I always stick to sheer and deep berry or rose reds because they are more wearable and suitable for my complexion. I avoid creamy reds, they just don't look right on me. Believe me, I've tried.
Ladies, if you have milky NC20-25 skin tone, this will look stunning on you, even with a bare face! Trust me! :) I hope the swatches were helpful especially to those who don't have access to Lunasol counters.

G

ReplyDeleteEnabling indeed! ;P *sigh* If only we had Lunasol counters here so I could play with them before buying.
ReplyDeleteI love the shimmery yet still natural effect that Japanese eye shadows tend to give.
